Fried Rice
i love making fried rice for the week… it’s super easy and cheap
ingredients
- 5 cups cooked white rice
 - 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
 - 1 package bacon, chopped into squares
 - 1 bag frozen vegetables
 - 4 eggs
 - reduced sodium soy sauce
 - salt & pepper

steps
- fry bacon into a wok, careful not to overcook the bacon
 - remove bacon from wok and into a paper towel-lined bowl to drain. drain the rest of the bacon grease into a glass jar for disposal
 - add a little oil to the wok and brown garlic and onions — do not burn the garlic
 - dump all 5 cups of rice into the wok, add pepper, and generously drizzle soy sauce on top of rice. fold rice to combine. the rice should be a nice light brown color
 - throw frozen vegetables and bacon into the rice and fold that as well
 - in a small pan, make some scrambled eggs. add that to the rice and fold
 - keep folding to prevent rice from burning at the bottom of the wok (and also to ensure ingredients are evenly distributed)
 - keep on heat until vegetables aren’t frozen
 - salt and pepper to taste (not a lot of salt is needed since you put a bunch of soy sauce already)
 - boomski.
