pretty slick use of augmented reality at the museo del agua in medellin. iPads on rollers point down at different points on the floor, showing different animations about water usage.
the whole museum was actually pretty cool — a bunch of different interactive modules all centered around water: the science, the usage, etc.
best of all, the museum is free… actually best of all, the museum was air conditioned!
having a snack in the warmth of medellin, colombia. walking around this botanical garden was great… it’s a beautiful spot. there were a TON of couples just sitting on blankets on the grass
landed in medellin, colombia — picked up by ana’s aunt, and traveled 30-45 minutes on windy roads to her grandma’s house. her grandma’s a sweetheart and she loves me! whoo hoo!
ana’s whole family has welcomed me with open arms and it has been so great.
even though it’s only a 45 minute flight, medellin is waaaaay different from bogota, climate-wise. medellin is warm and humid
…buuuut the traffic and pollution that i have grown accustomed to is still there!

today we hit up crepes & waffles… this needs to be franchised in america… it’d make millions. i keep saying that nutella is the next big trend, right? well this is the way to get it going. they do waffles with nutella, then a nice scoop of ice cream on top. droooool…
