so this friday, my work is throwing a summer picnic over at mission bay… shirts are being printed to commemorate the occasion

i saw the creative dept creating some designs so i decided to get a piece of that action… all their stuff was super nice, using floral-ish brushes

…then here’s me with my design… i think it’s awesome — i’d rock it outside of work (maybe)

and you know my name is simon...

oh yea… and i’m not even going to this event — but how awesome would it be to see roughly 100 people rockin’ this shirt at the beach?

…tho my shirt didn’t win… i was one of the finalists! #smallvictory (yes, i just used a hashtag in a blog post… weird)

in honor of the upcoming homestand against the pirates of somalia pittsburgh, i’ve made a wallpaper (2 sizes, depending on the ratio of your monitor):

1280 x 1024
1440 x 900

on a side note, i made this one for myself — still sticks with the pirate theme, just a different type of pirate: 1280 x 1024

if they don’t win it’s a shame…

peavy pitched well… but there was zero offense out there… way to take advantage of a bases loaded opportunity

made some wallpapers (the last two were andy’s idea… i swear)

*all are 1440×900 (widescreen)

i really like typography — making fonts huuuge and stuff…
